so i ordered a 14" x 14" seagrass mat from www.mysafebirdstore.com because it was on sale for $3..... leon likes climbing on it to play with his toy 
it would also be cool if i folded it in half, stuffed with with foraging material, and "sewed" it up! (next one i order

not only is it flexible and easy to hang.... it smells good!
i also took the "mini tree" and finally hung it from the ceiling over one of the big trees. Mr butch is growing up before my eyes and he used to be scared to fly... now he is flying up onto the mini tree AND the window play gym (which he never used to do). i am so proud of him and leon is just a wild thing and hops around to all the play areas- the trees, the mini tree, the seagrass mat, the window play gym...

i also put up 2 dowels as "toy hanging extenders" on the smaller of the 2 big trees so i can actually hang some toys. they are working out pretty good.
can you spot the boys playing??
