So, last week at work, I was in our new arrivals room, and we had gotten some new fancy parakeets, and at the very bottom eating some food was this little keet just eye-balling me, very curious, so curious, that when I put my hand near the cage, she didn't move away like the others. I had to get this birdie, but with having Mr. Possessive, Mouse, and my mom saying no more pets, I wasn't sure and didn't keep my hopes up. I got my two days off, and Saturday when I went back, she had been placed in the habitat. Still, had to have her. So I texted my mom on my break, saying how I really like this bird, and she would be easy to tame, and how she could eventually be a companion to Mouse so he won't be so alone when I start working more. I also said, "Thought I'd ask, because I know you'll most likely say no..." lol and then she said yes.
So, everyone meet, Cresselia.






My brother came up with the name Cresselia. I wanted to name her Xerneas...lol.
She has very unique coloration, too. On one side, she has a violet cheek patch, and on the color, she has none at all, or a very faint lavender. She is definitely younger than four months, because she still has bars down to her cere(?). She is being isolated from Mouse, and training to be tamed at the same time. She is doing pretty well so far. She is eating, drinking, and is very curious. I put a cup toy in with her and she chews and moves it around. She's a cutie. She is also very very tiny. <3

oh cute! (lucky you for being able to get her that easy) definitely a she. the cere is white with a blue tint and white at the very top, that mean she is a girl. at that age boys have pink/blue noses
