So, after my holiday dinner with my grandmother this weekend, we were sent home with some leftovers! I shared with the fids I was sent home with some turkey, carrots, and sweet potatoes... plus I had some of my own veggies and such stored at home for the fids as well. So I put together a special treat for the holidays for my flock, and they all LOVE it! Christmas dinner Mash Mashed turkey breast (small portion) Cooked carrot Cooked pumpkin Cooked sweet potato Corn Chopped almonds Quinoa Rice Millet (cooked) all mashed together, it's a huge hit! Great way to share bird-safe Christmas leftovers! I tore the turkey into small bite sized bits and mashed all the food together and served it up to them. Even our most picky eater is digging in enthusiastically!

the white dishes are from a sushi making set haha theyre just small rectangular dishes, very shallow too. i think theyre perfect for feeding messy foods to the birds.

my favourite dishes to use are actually those shallow square rubbermaid containers, but the smallest ones because i have small fids.
but, for water bowls, i use those pyrex mini round ones.

It looks delicious!!! I'm glad they are enjoying it When Tsuka is moody, will he bite you? Does he always accept scratches?

yes, he will bite, and he'll sometimes accept scritches when he is moody... but he bites a lot in between
