i had a burst of creativity today and i made some toys! i was nearly out and i had to make more. i just got my order of more parts in so i had so new things to work with.
this time, i took before and after pics of the toys parts and some of them i have my drawings of what i have planned.
this is my second sea grass mat that i have folded and tied in half. on the top between where the string it tied, i have a hole so i can fill it with things. on it i have some chain made from vine, vine spider webs, and a cane spring.
sometimes if i have a good toy idea, i sketch it out first so i don't forget it, then i lay out the toy parts and i put it together. this is the first toy i made today with my sketch, and the second pic is it all put together.
this toy consists of: maple branch, coconut chunks, palm shredder, 6cm vine ball, 2" vine ring, and hay in the vine ball
this toy has: 6cm vine ball, 4cm vine balls, finger traps, palm shredder, vine moon, and vine chain.
the drawing is pretty bad for this one, but i understand it
in this pic, i am just showing that i did this in 2 parts. the moon and chain are one (already tied together in pic)and then the sides will be another. i did put the palm shredder on the ends in the final toy because it was easier to tied that to the end rather than a vine ball.
finished toy. it would look much better if i added more of the 4cm vine balls, finger traps/ palm shredder!
this triangle was something new that i got. they are a little flexible and would be a great shredding item. the long side is about 7" long.
this was my attempt to make a plastic based toy (
) it didn't come out how i wanted it to, but who ever gets it, can make a lot of noise with it!
these one i didn't draw out and i just put together.
this toy has: a 5" vine star, a coconut chunk, and cane springs with crinkle paper
another toy with a big triangle. consists of: a finger trap, maple branch, cane spring, jute stick, palm shredder, coconut rope.
and for those that like simple toys, here is Pickles and Baby Bird shoving their head in what used to be a folded in half egg carton

she has this new obsession with exploring where she shouldn't, like on top of my fish tanks…. i am so glad that she is my only female
