I didn't make any drastic changes but I changed the colors of the forum and color of the default font I also changed the smileys all around (I kept the bird ones) and added some new ones. I also took out the other themes because I'm going to work on changing each of their colors and smileys. For now we have the All Parrots and Feathers. I am also working on getting a new banner to match the new colors. Someone is in the middle of making it now.  EDIT: I just added an awards system!! You can receive a medal if you win a photo contest! Hope you guys like the changes. :bigsmile: |

And now that I finished the updated banner, I am also proud to add that we have new icons! When you get to the home page you will see a black masked lovebird holding a sign stating whether you have new posts or not.

Hey FeatherTalk! January is coming to a close, so stay tuned for all the great things coming in February! We're working out a bunch of minor details you may not even notice, but seeing as we are thorough perfectionists, there will be quite a bit of minor "behind the scenes" work that we do.  I thought I would end the month of January with some of the work that has been done. New Tab Icon!
When you look up in the tab, you will see a blue square with the initials "FT" written in it. New Message Icons!
I said that it was a black masked lovebird in the previous post, however this was changed to indian ringnecks. A blue ringneck holding a green sign now represents a new post has been made. A green ringneck indicates no new posts. And of course, The Banner!
I created a new banner, but it has become slightly out of proportion now. Hey, February update! Hey, look forward to February, lots of cool stuff coming up! Any ideas? Feel free to share and we'll see if we can work it into any future updates. |
