He was amazing with me but anybody else he would go to draw blood! My friend whipped out a small compact DSLR to take a photo of him and as she put it up to her face he flew right at her and bit her! He would let me love on him all day though haha. The rescue I had him from claimed nobody could do anything with him because he was so aggressive too. He was one of those you'll never forget  |

Ouch! That's seems really painful. Your really brave for still taking the photo. If it was me, I would pull my hand away really quickly. I just took another look at that photo, oh my, his tongue looks like another toe!

Here's a good video of his tongue, it's horrible haha. And the little brush on the end is very tickly, especially when he tried to stick it in my nose or ears

Those videos are SOO cute! His tounge though...eww. It's very wet compared to cockatiels dry tounges. I can only imagine how fuzzy his tounge was. I want to touch it lol.

It's not fuzzy. It's just textured. I've had lory tongues in my mouth, up my nose, in my ears, under my nails. Hate to say this, but it's almost pleasant.  |
