i guess you can never be used to the weather, unless you move to a certain place for the climate. here in new england, the weather is always changing. we get the cold, the heat, tornados and hurricanes (but not that often), and everything in between. just yesterday it was sunny, then cloudy, then sunny and raining etc etc!

this usually happens here when its winter but in summer, its just sun sun sun sun lol and humidity

ugh i hate humidity!! it was about 105 degrees with humidity her a few days ago. it was really bad. i put the birds down cellar where my rabbit is and i even slept down there at night

yeah we are under a heat warning right now and its supposed to get over 100 F for the next little while. we already have emergency plans for the chinchillas as they cannot get wet, nor can they handle temperatures over 75F so if our AC goes, we have to move them to my fiance's moms basement where it will be cooler even if their AC goes out. we have emergency cooling pots in the freezer. we took a clay pot and put it in the freezer, in case they show signs of heat stroke. the rest of the fids we can spray down with water to keep cool, but not the chinchillas, their fur is too thick.
