So I found this little guy abandoned and chilled and he was attacked by starlings. But I took him home, got him hydrated and started feeding him. tomorrow I will be taking him to the wildlife rehab center. I can't cope long term like I did last year for wild babies... too heart breaking if they don't make it. I dont expect him to make the night, but thats just the negativity I have learned from raising baby wild birds. He is doing okay for now, he is being handfed a formula of soaked cat food, egg, and some pellets and he seems to like it. it is a recipe off a starling and sparrow site, but I tweaked it a tad. It should tie him over til tomorrow. He eats pretty good now that he knows I mean food. he has drank a little and has pooped after each feed. he is a baby House Sparrow
