tried them, but most she shreds and makes into nests. shredding makes her hormonal, which she has already laid 2 clutches this year, we dont want more. so we don't have much options if she plucks. she had a feather toy, she liked it for awhile until she got hormonal--then she ripped it up and turned it into nest material

no experience with plucking or nests, but would she like if you put her molted feathers in for more nesting...or maybe im the only one who collects feathers

As for tippa im sure its hormonal issues because my male tiel was plucking my other female tiel she wwnt bald all the way to the end of her neck, what I did (thanks to caseys advice) I let him sleep for longer hours, I gave him more preening toys and I also removed everything that could be used as a nest and I also tried keeping him busy like playing with him amd such Yep, it's definitely hormones. I since then have taken out their sleep tent, give them longer sleep time and added some new toys. My conure Tai seems calmer now; before that, he was ripping flesh off my fingers and lunging at my neck to bite me. Daisy's feathers have seemed to grow back. I have been keeping an eye on the plucking problem, if it happens again I might have to separate them in different cages, at the moment all 3 conures share 1 cage .

Hmm maybe its because she forced the plucking so it slightly damaged her skin, I hope nothing serious as long as its not bothering her
