so i finally got time to get some videos of butch on youtube... some times when i change his water he gets really excited and starts playing with it like its a mirror, but this time he took a bath!  Butch taking a bathand this is from a while ago. butch just singing away. the second clips is from after i replayed the first one, he was looking for the bird that was singing  the second clip is how he was acting when i was cleaning out lennys (RIP) cage and butch thought lenny was going to come out, so he kept looking for lenny  butch singing |

he sure is chatty! i love budgie chatter, it's very soothing, even that 'JJRRT! JRRRT!" sound they make lol though, it is sad seeing him looking for Lenny |

as long as he is happy in his own little world, then he is all good he looks pretty happy singing like that. Toby ever only sang when water ran. he would have sang all the time in your room, you can hear the water from the fishtanks all the time in the background. |

yeah butch lives my room especially when the tanks are low with water (like now) he love singing to it |

has he accepted the wood perch yet?
my birds all have that same wood block and sisal toy lol

i havent tried the wood perches yet, i dont know how i would introduce it to him... if i put it in when i have the big door open he would probably fly out (wouldnt be the first time he spooked). and nothing will fit in the little door. i am still tempted to let him out and have him find trust, but i dont know if that would be appropriate for him  right now i dont have much time between homework, a lab report, writing my jr research, and a huge physics project next week is vacation but that still have a large animal to do list like cleaning lennys toys and perches for a next bird (hopefully) and just small cleaning stuff in my room (organizing fish supplies!) and cleaning 14 tanks  |
