Is it bad I already have a list of names picked out for the BCC?

They are called Noise Cancellation Machine. I am unsure whether or not it will work for a loud screamer like a BCC. We'll have to do our research. They don't seem to cost a fortune from a few I just looked at. They are around $40-$50.

Is it bad I already have a list of names picked out for the BCC? I'm pretty sure that's a symptom for bird cravings.

I have it for both sexes too. And even a unisex name until I would figure out what sex it really is so it can have a name until I decide the real one based on what sex it is.

Wow. You seem very prepared. The one thing I love about bird cravings is that you always get this sense of excitement that feels really nice. When I have bird cravings I think I purposefully trigger it so that I can feel excited. It does have a good feeling that comes with that annoying, constantly thinking about it feeling which stinks. When i'm really excited, I get this anxious feeling from adrenalin which is really good but then it gets awful because your dealing with anxiety the whole day. I hope I can relate to you or else I would feel weird.
It seems to me that you also trigger it without even knowing because you found a really cute picture of one. I do the same. hehe

Yes! Seriously. I get excited so then my body treats it like anxiety. The only thing I'm not prepared for is the screaming. Ugh, I really want one so bad! I've wanted one for years.

Hope that you'll be able to get one in future aviary!! I'll try to find some solutions for noise.

I want one so bad, if I could just hear one scream. That would be the biggest deal breaker I can think of. There is absolutely NOTHING I can find that could really show me that. I hate thinking ahead into the future. No pionus, simply because that is far too out of the way money wise, BCCs are my dream bird but I don't think I know enough about them to seal the deal. I just want something a little bigger. I still have a few more budgies in my mind though, since that's the default plan, but if I keep getting these urges that must mean something right?

It's very hard to give up on a dream whether it's a bird or not. I'll try to come up with some solutions. Maybe the noise won't be as bad as you think it is. You have brick walls and noise bounces and echoes off it. Your new home probably won't have brick walls. Maybe you can babysit one when you move and see if it isn't that bad as you thought it was.

Hmm. That's true. Although it cannot be guaranteed that our next house wouldn't be brick. Most likely though. I'm still thinking about it, but the feeling is dying down a bit and I am starting to take more control over it again.
