did the vet show you the best grip to keep his head still? they're so small. its so scary not to hold them too tight, but fitting in your hand is convenient for holding them still. the tiels are harder to get a grip on lol

i try to hold him like this, but i get a little nervous because he tries to flap his wings on my hand and i can feel his heart beating really fast yesterday he didnt want to take his meds and kept that little beak shut! but me and my mom finally got him to open up 3 hours later, but my mom got some of it on his cheek

i will try that but i am still getting used to holding him they are just so small! i cant imagine holding a zebra finch!

budgies are slightly smaller than lovebirds (mostly in girth) so yeah i would feel nervous with a finch too lol

today he took his meds better. and i mustered up some confidence and clipped the single flight feather that came in and was bothering me sooo bad he loves to squirm. i feel like i would be chocking him if i hold any tighter :-[
